Cool Blues

It is 1955. B is a black jazz musician so renowned that he is known by his initial alone. He shows up unannounced at the apartment of Baroness Alexandra Isabella von Templeton, his patron. His mood shifts are as mercurial as his music. Has he come to recuperate from recent disastrous events? Or, has his war against conformity and racial prejudice taken its ultimate toll?
