This satirical play presents a mock trial between black female stereotypes: pitting the jovial, asexual and servile “mammy,” vs. the hyper-sexualized “Safreeta Mae.” This production won six AUDELCO Awards: Best Play, Playwright, Ensemble, Director, Set, Costumes and Dramatic Production of the Year.
