A so-called “colored” psychologist, living illegally in a Johannesburg township, is fearfully awaiting a visit from a Special Branch policeman who is known for brutalizing nonwhites. To the psychologist’s surprise, when the official arrives he brings with him a personal problem and a need for counseling.
Michael O’Hare was the first white actor receiving an AUDELCO Award nomination for Best Actor, for his performance as Captain Jaap van Tonder.
