A Hip-Hop musical based on the music of Funke Natives, well known Harlem rappers of the late 1980’s and early 90’s, known for songs such as “Small Talk on 125th Street,” and “Da Boom Da Bipp.” The production earned eight AUDELCO award nominations: Set Design, Sound Design, Director/Musical Production, Choreographer, Outstanding Female Performance in a Musical, Outstanding Male Performance in a Musical, Outstanding Musical Director, and Musical Production of the Year.
