Bley Zaguehi is an Ivorian traditional dance performer. He started his first steps with local groups in his native village, Guiberoua (Central-West of the Ivory Coast). He is one of the first member of the Ivorian ballet and “Les Guirivoires” of Rose Marie Guiraud. He toured Europe, Asia and South America, before coming to the US in 1975. Here in the US, he worked with Alvin Alley, Chucks Davis, and the Jojo Dance Factory. He currently lives in the Bronx, and is co-founder and Executive Director of the Mask Dance Company.
