Tuluv Maria Price

Amongst her many talents, Tuluv is a director, choreographer, producer, as well as a triple threat in the performing arts: singing, dancing, acting.

Tuluv was a member of the female group which opened for many artists, Mya, Mary Mary, and Destiny’s Child. Independently, she sang background for Heather Headley, Carl Thomas and received her 1st writing credit for her lyrics for Well Carry On for Stanley Brown Music.

As a choreographer, Tuluv was taught under the tutelage of the legendary George Faison. She was in the 2000 revival of “The Wiz” at Theater Under The Stars,“Bubbling Brown Sugar”, “King” and “Aretha Franklins” VH1 Divas Live Special to name a few.

In NY, Luv2dants was featured in the Best of BDC. She was featured in Dance Now. Tuluv has danced and choreographed for such artists as Jimmy Cozier, Monifah, Maxi Priest, Jay Z, Foxy Brown and Ashanti, to name a few.

In 2003 Tuluv landed the distinct honor of the lead role as Antoinette Grayson in the stage play THE MAINTENANCE MAN starring Billy Dee Williams, Darius McCrary. The play is now a best seller and is sold nationally on DVD. In 2004 Tuluv received her 1st off Broadway credit for her choreography in Rhapsody and Who then joined the Malik Yoba National Theater Company in Los Angeles CA, where she was assistant director/choreographer for the stage play “Acoustic Chocolate“ Starring Malik Yoba, and Phil Perry. She later was assistant director to Michael De Lerenzo.

Her later directorial theaters works include “Romeo and Juliet’s Final Tour,” “Lion King: Reloaded,” “Happy Feat” and two original works she wrote Blood Sweat and Tears.

Tuluv received her 1st movie role in a featured film “Toe to Toe” as Pam. The movie debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in 09 and continued syndication in major theaters as well as on Showtime Television.
Tuluv pursued advanced studies at the California Institute of the Arts, Howard University and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She received a B.F.A. in modern dance from the University of the Arts and a Masters degree in Education Administration from The International Graduate University.
