Themba Ntinga participate in Theatre Workshop ’71 collective to create Crossroads and Survival (playing “Leroi Williams”), both staged at The Space in the 1970s. Survival was performed off-Broadway in 1977, and Ntinga remained in the US to pursue his career. In 1990 he performed in the play again when Jerry Mofokeng revived Survival at NFT.
Ntinga studied at Stonybrook University, and in the late 1980s acted as the African National Congress’ “shadow” representative to the United Nations.
