Ronald Willoughby was born June 3, 1937 in near Goss, Mississippi.
Ron attended Millsaps College in Jackson Mississippi and graduated in 1959 with a major in fine Arts. At Millsaps, Ron was active in the Millsaps Players and took roles in major productions. After graduation he worked in summer stock in Chicago and later moved to New York.
He earned his first NY credit in Little Eyolf, at the Actors Playhouse in 1964, which the NY Times described as “agreeably extroverted, if too boyish”.
He died September 1, 1989 in San Diego, California.
