Neal Arluck

Neal recently returned from The Fireside Playhouse in Wisconsin where he performed in Run For Your Wife and in Driving Miss Daisy several seasons earlier. Neal is a proud member of Actors Equity and SAG-AFTRA and is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

He created the roles of Uncle Pumblechook and Mr. Wemmick in the premiere of the musical version of Great Expectations by John Jakes and Mel Marvin at the Hilton Head Playhouse in South Carolina. He appeared with the Queen City Stage Company in Poughkeepsie in Greater Tuna in which he played ten characters and made 24 costume changes. Neal can be seen and heard (all three lines worth) in Woody Allen’s film Celebrity which recently netted him a residual check of four cents (one of which had already been sent to the government).

He performed at the late lamented Carousel Dinner Theater in Oklahoma!, Mame and Gypsy. He has performed Off-Broadway in Perfect Diamond with Josh Mostel, The Hooch with Kevin Hooks and the revival of Woody Allen’s Play It Again Sam. Other New York credits include the premiere of Joseph Heller’s Catch-22, Agatha Christie’s Black Coffee and the premiere of Nicky Silver’s The Nasty Bits. He appeared in NJ Rep’s production of Mike Folie’s Panama and in numerous readings including Dix Tableaux with Betsy Palmer. He served as Sound Designer for Emil, Winterizing The Summer House and most of a Theatre Brut Festival. His other appearances in New Jersey include The Advocate at 12 Miles West and The Diary Of Anne Frank and The Passion of Dracula at Tri-State Actors Theater.
