Nancy Hume began her acting careen in the early 1980s, appearing in Our Town at the Alliance Theatre, in several productions at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in 1985, and on Broadway in Teddy & Alice at the Minskoff Theatre in 1987.
Miss Hume sang the part of The Teacher in Copeland’s Second Hurricane at the New Federal Theatre.
In recent years (2017), Nancy has starred as Celeste in the world premiere production of A Proust Sonata, conceived and directed by Sarah Rothenberg. It received a worshop production in NYC, and was mounted by the Lois Chiles Studio Theatre at Rice University in Houston.
Nancy received her BA in Theatre Studies from Yale University, then studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
