Max was born in Brooklyn, New York. He has appeared in over 70 professional stage productions both Off-Broadway and in regional theatres. He is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama and a recipient of the “Fox Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship” from Yale University. He has directed theatre productions and has taught extensively.
Besides acting professionally, he taught as an Assistant Professor at Brooklyn College (C.U.N.Y.) 1998-1999; taught for 6 years for the NYCDOE @ C.S. 61, 1 year for the NYCDOE @ P.S. 198, and is currently teaching for the NYCDOE at P.S. 386.
