Lindsay Finnie is a Toronto based playwright with a BA in Theatre Studies from the University of Guelph. She has studied under some of Canada’s biggest theatre names such as Judith Thompson, Sky Gilbert and Ed Roy. In 2012, Lindsay co-founded the company, Beasts of the Theatre to which she is now an occasional playwright. Her most recent work, Grey Ground premiered in the 2012 Toronto Fringe Festival. Lindsay’s work focuses on cognitive study and examines the psychological reasons behind why we do what we do and what, innately makes us human. She has a keen interest in delving into the primal needs and wants of the human body.
