Kim Yancey Moore was raised in Harlem and attended the High School of Performing Arts. She earned her BFA for the City College of New York under the tutelage of Robert Macbeth, who was Executive Director of New Lafayette Theater at the time.
Her New York credits include performances at the Mitzi Newhouse Theatre at Lincoln Center, American Place Theatre, Playwrights Horizons, Judith Anderson Theater, NEC, CSC Repertory Theatre, Roundabout, Roundabout Theatre, and the Public.
Regionally, she’s worked at The Kennedy Center, Crossroads, Great Lakes Shakespeare, Yale Rep, Cleveland Playhouse, the Hanger Theatre, and Baltimore Center Stage.
TV appearances include Spin City, Guiding Light, Another World, Law & Order, All My Children, As the World Turns, New York Undercover, One Life to Live, and PBS American Playhouse.
