Jane Clark is credited as Scenic Designer for the 1984 Broadway production of Master Harold and the Boys. From her Playbill bio, we learn she had attended Yale School of Drama, and designed the set for the Yale Rep production that preceded the Broadway run.
Mysteriously, other than her work with NFT, we can find no other set design credits for her, anywhere.
Playbill adds, “Before going to Yale, Miss Clark was a free-lance illustrator, her work appearing in many magazines, books, newspapers and advertising and promotional campaigns.”
On IMDb, we can find a Jane Clark who has worked steadily in the Movie Industry as a storyboard artist. Her very first credit is as “storyboard artist: New York” for the 1985 movie Prizzi’s Honor. She has a total of 54 credits, almost all as a storyboard artist, a few as illustrator or draughtsman. Could this be the same woman?
