Jaime Perry

For more than 25 years, Mr. Perry has worked as an Actor in several feature films, television shows, and theatre.

Jaime began his acting career at the Joseph Papps, New York Shakespeare Public Theatre. In his first play, entitled, “Runaways”, by Elizabeth Swados, he starred opposite Diane Lane, and Trini Alvarado. Diane Lane was only 12 at the time. Instead of going to Broadway with the cast, Perry left to do movies.

Early on in Mr. Perry’s career he decided to go back to college and attend The City University of New York studying film and screenwriting. He would later graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In his senior year he starred in and co-produced a thesis film entitled “Familiar Differences” that won all three Diamond Awards for Directing, Acting, and Best Short Film in his senior year. It didn’t long for him to head to Los Angeles, to study directing at the American Film Institute.

Highlights in film include…The Message, Warriors, Jacobs Ladder, and starring opposite Michael Jackson and Wesley Snipes in the Martin Scorsese film, BAD. Mr. Perry also studied method acting with Lee Strasberg at the Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute and HB Studios in New York.

He was placed in a recurring role on New York Undercover working Fox Television with Dick Wolf while pursuing other guest appearances on network television. – adapted from IMDb bio
