Irving H. Vincent, Notable Professor of NYU, Filmmaker in OneRace Films and father of the actor Vin Diesel, has done everything in theatre there is to be done: acting, stage managing, and directing.
He directed Prayer Meeting or the First Militant Minister by Ben Caldwell and Great Goodness of Life (A Coon Show) by LeRoi Jones, both of which were part of A Black Quartet. He has also directed at the Equity Library Theatre, in community theatre, and in the army.
