Geisha Otero has performed in notable productions, namely; The Public Theatre, Lincoln Center, Henry Street Settlement, La Mama Theatre, Spanish Repertory Company, and The Nuyorican Poets Café, awarding her an AUDELCO for her performance in the musical, Shango de Ima. In the Off-Broadway musical production of, La Lupe: My Life, My Destiny at the PRTT; and in the production of Coda for Freddie Blue in association with Dramatic Question Theatre at the PRTT.
TV credits include a recurring role in CBS’s, Guiding Light, Damages and Phil Spector (movie made for TV). She has also had principal roles in Independent films and major films; namely, Reservation Road, The Children of Hip Hop, Millie and the Lords and most recent, Hungry Hearts.
