Elliot Weiss was born in Levittown, L.I., in 1952. He started classical training on the piano at the age of 4 when his father, a music teacher, discovered he had perfect pitch. He polished off his training with a degree from Juilliard in composition and has since written a piano sonata, a woodwind quintet, a string quartet, dance music for Pearl Lang and a rock oratorio, ”The 104 Bus,”
But he has made his living as a musical director and arranger for musicals and nightclub singers, and as a pianist in dance bands.
