Cheray O’Neal is an actress, writer, and producer.
She is a member of The Labyrinth Theater Company of New York City with Phillip S Hoffman, David Zayas, and Ana Ortiz and worked with talents including Loretta Devine, TC Carson, Adam Lambert, Ricky Minor, and Carmit Bachar.
As a writer, she was hired to write and perform an original spoken word piece for the 2009 NAACP Image Awards Nominee Luncheon on their centennial year. Her solo play ‘Journey this’ is a 2018 NAACP Theatre Awards nominee recipient for both ‘Best Solo Show’ and ‘Best Playwright’. She has written two books, ‘A taste of sour honey’ and ‘love of the lick’.
