Chapman is a native of Washington, D.C., and has devoted the last 20 years of her life to being a teaching artist and performer. Among her credits are “Court Marshall at Fort Devens” [Off-Broadway] and “The Taking of Miss Janie” at the New Federal Theater in New York City. She holds a bachelor of arts in acting from Howard University.
