Stephanie Rafferty was a “jack of all trades” in the avant-garde theater scene in the early 2000s.
She is credited as a musician, and costume & puppet constructor for the Loco7 Theatre Company for a show that performed with mixed live actors and puppets at La MaMa, the Spoleto Festival , and several venues in Poland in 2002 and 2003.
She shows up as a choreographer in two La MaMa productions written and directed by Gian Marco Lo Forte. In 2003, they adapted Checkhov’s The Seagull as a dance theater project, and Butter Melts Away in 2005.
She also choreographed Regained Innocence and Robin Hood” directed by Dan Friedman for the All Star Project at Castillo Theater.
Her bio mentions she also has designed costumes for several shows Off-Broadway.
