Ramadumetja Rasebotsa first started working with Maredi in 1998 when she was cast in his musical HELL WE CAN. Rasebotsa began performing on the stage more frequently after having started her career performing in radio dramas. She appeared in the staging of Bessie Head’s MARU in 1995 and increasingly worked in theatre and translating for television.
In recent years she has transitioned to writing and directing. In 2019 she participated in a festival entitled “Ramadumetja Rasebotsa and Friends” where all of the 5 plays were written and directed by her.
