Maria M. Delgado is a critic, curator and academic. Currently Professor and Director of Research at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London, she has published widely on Spanish-language culture, transnational theatre and film and her work on practice research involves projects as a curator, translator and editor, as well as visiting positions, consultancy and advisory work with a range of institutions in the Europe, North and South America, Australia and Hong Kong.. She contributes regularly to Sight & Sound and guest reviews for a range of BBC Radio programmes and is a Programme Advisor on Spanish and Latin-American Cinema for the BFI London Film Festival.
