Roberta Illg, born in Brooklyn, New York, and Georgia resident for over thirty years, died on July 22. During her residence in Marietta, Atlanta, and Athens, Georgia, much time was devoted to various aspects of theater. Not only was she a gifted actress, singer, and director; she taught, coached, and assisted others to help them progress with their theater-related aspirations. She received her undergraduate degree from Franklin College, Franklin, Indiana, and went on to do her graduate work at the University of Georgia in Athens.
