Raymond Francis Benkoczy, moved to Manhattan to begin his own theatrical career. From 1976 through 1985, In his collective years in New York and Chicago, he has either directed, consulted, or taught Rob Morrow, Fisher Stevens, Susan Jaffe, Brent Barrett, Michael Brager, Solomon Eversol, Billy McIntyre, Harvey Fierstein, The Ravinia Festival, and the Kaatsbahn International Center for Ballet.

Mr. Benkoczy obtained his J.D., cum laude, in 1989, beginning at The University of Miami School of Law and finishing his third year at Northwestern University School of Law as a visiting student. The Chicago firm, Pope & John, recruited him under the direct mentor-ship of Mike Pope. He worked as a trial lawyer for six years there and became a Senior Associate managing and handling all aspects of complex corporate civil trial practice (assigned predominantly to cases in federal courts across the country) Representative clients upon request.

Mr. Benkoczy also served as an Adjunct professor of Law at Northwestern University School of Law (teaching Trial Advocacy) and the Loyola University of Chicago School of Law (teaching Child Advocacy in the Oprah Winfrey underwritten CIVITAS Program). He later served as an Adjunct at The University of Miami school of Law (teaching Clinical Trial Advocacy). After leaving the firm in 1994,he continued to work as a Sole Practitioner, and later founding Benkoczy Associates.

He retired from practice after 27 years, just last January, 2016. In 1996, He continues to manage and consult to talent and producers in the film, TV, music, theater and fashion industries. In August, he moved to Palm Springs and is now searching for young unrepresented talent in the greater Los Angeles Area..
