Allegro Kane was a NY based theatre actor whose career began during the 1950s.
He was in the original production of Gold Through the Trees (1952) produced by the Theatre Chapter of the Committee for the Negro in the Arts (CNA) in 1952. He is best known for his role in the 1957 musical production of Langston Hughes’ Simply Heavenly, and for The Egg and I (1958).
